Outstanding value for a Luxury SUV
By YYZOwner | on Friday, May 18, 2018
Own a 2017 T6 Momentum Plus kitted with the Climate and Vision pkgs. Outstanding value for money. Compared the Q7, MDX and QX60 when making the purchase. The XC90 is way better on all counts, especially room in the 3rd row of seats. The 4 cyl eng does sound a bit droney but have never felt it lack power. The Start/Stop function is the only issue I have with the car - seemed to have a mind of its own; did not always work as intended. Have been to the shop a couple of times to repair it, the second time they seem to have fixed it, but it is still not perfect. That being said, it is a minor quibble - overall, extremely happy with the vehicle!… - 5.0
Outstanding vehicle in almost every respect
By Mike from SC Lowcountry | on Sunday, October 30, 2016
We love the 2016 XC 90 Inscription First Edition. This is our fourth Volvo -- including the XC 70 we still own. The ride is impressive, the interior layout and functionality are excellent, and the exterior styling is unmatched. The touch screen controls are easy to use once you become familiar with the technology. We did experience some initial software bugs however once the dealer did a total replacement we've been fine.We attributed that experience to the fact we were early adopters. We've traveled extensively (hence the almost 30K miles in a little over a year) and love the highway and local handling. Highly recommend the rear air suspension stabilizer option. We've had the vehicle in all types of weather from a Northeast winter (prior to relocating) to the hot summer -- and recent high water due to Hurricane Matthew. We just raised the ride with the selector. Volvo has a winner in the technology and performance category leadership of this SUV. I'd rate it a full 10/10 but for the initial bug workouts. In each case the NJ dealer was great.… - 5.0
First Volvo after over 40 years of driving
By TDRÂ |Â on Tuesday, February 13, 2018
If you are looking for a three row SUV look no further that the Volvo XC-90. We had decided to check out a few different brands and models (Lexus, Mercedes, Cadillac, Infinity, Acura) but when we checked this one out we knew there was no need to look any further. We found out you get more standard equipment for your money and even loaded it cost less than almost everything else in the category that we looked at. Did I say the safety equipment is second to none compared to anything else on the highway. Volvos goal is no serious injuries or deaths while driving or riding in any of their vehicles by 2025. We have a 2018 T6 Inscription and really are glad we bought it. We are coming from a 2017 Audi Q7 Prestige and just kept having little problems with it until one day while making a left turn across two oncoming lanes of traffic it decided to completely brake. That was it, so we decided it was time to move on after two years. The only thing the Q7 had over this vehicle is it had a little more power, 333 hp vs 316 hp but really is not that noticeable. If you are looking for a new SUV, mid size or larger, this vehicle is at least worth a test drive.…
