The 2019 Volvo V90 is built on Volvo’s Scalable Product Architecture (SPA) as are all 90 and 60 Series Volvo cars. This new model reflects classic Volvo styling cues, including “Thor’s Hammer” designed headlights and a new grille with the Volvo Iron Mark.
Inside the cabin new details are found across the dashboard and instrument panel. Of these are new vertical air blades that flank the Sensus user interface. The infotainment system delivers an intuitive touch screen interface for easy access to car functions, navigation, connected services and in car entertainment.
New 2019 Volvo V90 luxury wagons are powered by an efficient 2.0 Liter Direct-Injected Turbocharged engine that delivers up to 250 horsepower. The engine is mated to either a sporty 6-speed manual or 8-speed automatic transmission, depending on model type.
As with all Volvos the new V90 wagon is abundantly safe. With a body structure crafted from boron steel and numerous safety system technologies, Volvos are among the safest vehicles on the road today. Included in Volvo’s safety suite of features is Volvo’s City Safety technology that combines braking functionality and collision avoidance systems to help drivers avoid potential collisions.
