At Volvo Cars of West Houston, we are proud to serve our local community. We firmly believe that we are only as strong as the community around us. That's why we take part in the Houston, TX, Toys for Tots drive every year. This year, the Houston Toys for Tots program will partner directly with the Houston Children's Charity to make sure all of your incredible toy donations go directly to children in the Houston area.

Last year, this campaign helped distribute over 108,000 toys to children in need in Westside Houston and beyond. 2020 has been a challenging year for everyone, and that's why we are hoping to beat that goal this year. It's the most wonderful time of the year, and we need your help to make sure it is wonderful for every child in Houston. It's as simple as bringing a toy to our dealership.

What Is Toys for Tots?

Toys for Tots is a 501(c)(3) charity that gives toys to children whose parents are unable to afford Christmas gifts. The charity was created in 1947 by Major Bill Hendricks, and it continues to be a wonderful organization run by the United States Marine Corps to this day. Throughout the entire year, the foundation educates the public, raises funds, and buys toys to prepare for the holiday season with the goal of spreading a sense of hope to kids across America. Since its inception, Toys for Tots has donated over 584 million toys to children in need - supporting over 286 million kids!

Why We Choose Toys for Tots

The holidays are a beautiful time in our great city of Houston. We want to do our part to make it joyous and merry for everyone. We love helping people get incredible Volvo Cars, but nothing brings us more pride than hosting our Toys for Tots campaign and seeing our community come together to help one another. By working directly with Toys for Tots, we hope to help better the most precious people in our nation - children. After all, they are the ones who will be our future leaders.

How To Get Involved

As we said, it's as simple as bringing a toy to our dealership right here in West Houston. We will collect all the toys and donate them for you! By doing this simple act of kindness, you get the joy of knowing that your donated toy will be sitting under the Christmas tree for a less-fortunate child in your local community. And, not only will donating lift their spirits, but we know it will lift yours too. We know exactly what people mean when they say giving can be better than receiving.

Please bring a toy to our dealership no later than December 15th 2020, and help us spread a little magic this 2020 holiday season. There's no time like right now to lift the spirits of those that need it the most.
